After a busy afternoon on Saturday of netball matches, Six Nations rugby, a visit to watch the Bruton 1st XI and various Bonnet making workshops, the long anticipated Easter Feast was upon us. A sea of colour lit up the Dining Room with a cacophony of noise and excitement. Bonnets of all sizes and creative designs greeted us. The overall winner was Harry F with his clever bonnet of cotton wool in the shape of an Easter lamb.

Following our chicken Kiev and the most delicious white chocolate cheese cake, the boarders let their hair down to the music of 'The Johnsons', a very cool country and western band. The theatre suddenly looked more like the O2! Dancing, whistling and laughing, we all had a terrific time and evening.

Sunday saw a vast array of activities. Every year group had an Easter egg hunt on the front lawn whilst screen printing, cooking, Airfix models and code cracking went on. Simultaneously the Year 6s opened the 'Country Fete' in aid of Ebola Research and Cancer Research. Face painting, nail polish, second hand bookstore, guess how many sweets in a jar, lucky dip and other stalls rewarded the girls an impressive total of £82.50.

In the afternoon, 'Three Way Football', a trip to Ham Hill, a bike ride, pizza making resulting in Calzones from the pizza oven, Damper Bread, den building, 40:40, kayaking, swimming and Human Hungry Hippos kept us all busy.

All in all it was a rather exhilarating, exhausting and exciting weekend. We all collapsed into our Boarding Houses post supper.
