Pupil success in the Black Swan Art Competition

In the Art Department we are celebrating the fact that six of our very talented artists have got through to the exhibition stage of the Black Swan Arts Young Open Competition. Chloe S, Serena F, Pandora C, Freddy F, Katie W and Jasmine S all currently have their artwork exhibited until Saturday 11th April in the Frome gallery.

The results were announced on Saturday...

Congratulations go to Serena F who won in her category, 12-15 year olds, with a fantastic dress and corsage made of paper and lace. She receives a workshop with an artist as a prize.

Also successful were Katie W who got highly commended for her painting of an African lady and Pandora C got highly commended for her image of a hare in ink.

All of the entrants did extremely well getting to the exhibition stage. Well done everyone!
