Boarders' lecture by 'The Blowfish'

The boarders were in for a highly entertaining evening on Wednesday when The Blowfish came to Hazlegrove.

The Blowfish explained to the children how little we really know about some of the life in our oceans and talked about lots of weird and wonderful sea creatures.  It was fascinating to hear all about how the starfish regenerate themselves, the potential for a jellyfish armageddon and the special senses of the sharks - the Blowfish's top raking sea creature of the evening!

As always, there were lots of brilliant questions from the children.  The Blowfish was inspired to be a marine biologist at the age of 12 so who knows, one of our boarders may have been similarly inspired by this talk!.
