A frenetic weekend of fun with trips and activities...

Set against a backdrop of gorgeous weather, the boarding community of Hazlegrove enjoyed a busy, frenetic and fun weekend full of different activities and trips.

The main focus on Sunday morning was the triathlon which we run annually. Quite a few children entered the individual and team categories and did themselves proud. Elsewhere, there were several trips beyond the gates – Shepton Mallet Fair, Weymouth Beach and a Toy and Train Collectors’ Fair at the Bath and West Ground. Back at camp, we had snail racing, ‘The Big Draw’, a Treasure Trail, cricket and rounders matches, juggling, wobble board challenge (no mention of staff injuries), swimming, scone baking, pizza making, archery, Capture the Flag, bike riding, rip sticking and crazy croquet.

The BBQ and ice cream van were the icing on the top.
