This Week Year 1 Took to the Playground for a Birds Eye View

Innovation week saw Year 1 creating their versions of ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ in English.

We had ‘The Three Lions’, ‘The Three Butterflies’ and even ‘The Three Anacondas’ to take on the nasty troll!

In maths, we worked on place value extending our learning by working on bigger numbers and learning to count in 10’s. We loved exploring our amazing bodies even further, learning to label simple diagrams and explore our heart and lungs.

In geography, we made our own playground maps learning all about a ‘birds eye view’.
