6J Join Sandra Ling for Artwork Inspired by Kandinsky

For the next four weeks, Kings School Bruton's art teacher, technician and textiles specialist, Sandra Ling will work with 6J in their art lessons on creating original artwork inspired by the hugely influential abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky.

Sandra will work with the pupils on developing their hand sewing techniques and we will then move on to learning some machine stitching processes. This is an excellent opportunity for pupils to develop their fine motor skills and create their very own textiles-based piece of work. I am hugely grateful to Sandra for giving up her time to work with 6J and look forward to the next four weeks of creative sessions!
