Year 3 Take a Trip to Montacute House

Year 3 enjoyed a magical morning learning about the Tudors on Wednesday.
The morning started with a drama based activity introducing Montacute House to the children who sat in the park land. They enjoyed learning about Lord Phelips who built this beautiful holiday home to enjoy with his family and friends over 400 years ago.
The children imagined how they would feel if they were a guest travelling from London up the grand drive towards the beautiful house. Then the children sketched the magnificent building, making sure to capture all the gorgeous ham stone details.
