Warm Sunshine and Time With Their Friends
What a beautiful day the children had, although a little foggy to begin with, the sunshine burst through and we were treated to a glorious day.
To start with we had a delicious breakfast, where we also said goodbye to some laser pistol shooters and the Exmoor Challenge crew, who had their practice run, however when they returned, they all got stuck into the activities.
For the rest of the boarders, it started with letter writing and then the challenge began Taskmaster style! The children were placed into six groups and had to do six different tasks, from welly throwing to making a disaster movie. They only had 30 minutes to complete their tasks and then they were scored.
During the day, the children also had lots of free time to enjoy the warm sunshine and time with their friends. Once the tasks were finished, they headed to chapel to hear Rev Bev talk. To end a busy day, we were all treated to a scrumptious roast dinner, where our champions, the ‘Blue Team’, were announced and won the prize of a chocolate cake!!!!
