Year 8 Enjoyed Their Leavers' Trip To Cornwall

We have enjoyed a very special week in Cornwall with our Year 8 Leavers.

 This trip is always a highlight of the year, and a very special time was had by 66 of our Year 8’s.  They will have many memories of this wonderful and fun time together for years to come.  From sunshine to wet and windy weather we experienced it all, but this fabulous group of children embraced it and were incredible. Activities included surfing, a sea safari, walking the coast path, coasteering, paddleboarding and simply having fun on the beach and in the sea. Around the campsite the true Year 8 team spirit was very evident – whether it was washing up in house groups, helping to prepare meals or playing cricket games well into the evening, everyone truly enjoyed themselves. Cornwall is truly breathtaking and seeing dolphins in the sea was certainly a highlight for some, others will say spending quality time with friends, jumping from a great height into the sea, playing on the beach or mastering, standing up on a surfboard – all will have many tales to tell.
