Year 3 Had Fun At Corfe Castle Despite The Weather
Year 3 enjoyed the most brilliant day at Corfe Castle on Friday. Despite the weather we made the most of every moment!
Our wonderful guide, Elizabeth, shared stories of French Knights, cruel Kings and beautiful princesses. We learnt how incredibly difficult it was to attack the castle and the ingenious and gruesome ways that kept invaders out! Elizabeth reminded us of the wicked Prince John and how tough life was for so many in Medieval times.
We enjoyed our first picnic of the year on the grass banks and even had time for a roll down the hill!
Well done to all the Year 3 children who listened and behaved impeccably.
