Year 7 Study Skills

It’s our Year 7 Study Skills Presentation this week: Teachers and tutors embed study skills in their lessons, schemes of work and tutor sessions, helping the children explore a variety of techniques so that they find what works and doesn’t work for them: we all learn differently. That is our mantra. Then at the start of Y7 we give a presentation to the children where they fill in a self-awareness questionnaire (later gone through with tutors.) A variety of staff then talk through successful approaches to revision and preparation for exams. All part of the ongoing programme to prepare these amazing children for their next steps.
