Year 8 Enjoyed A Geography Trip To Lulworth Cove
On Friday 17th September, Year 8 headed off to Lulworth Cove for an action packed day of geography fieldwork.
Is excessive tourist activity damaging the landscape around Lulworth and Durdle Door? That is the question we will be answering in our write up. We collected a wealth of data to help answer this question, from measuring footpath erosion to landscape evaluation surveys, to determine whether facilities have been developed sensitively or not.
The weather was beautiful, thankfully, and the spectacular coastal landforms were enjoyed by all, as we learnt what erosional processes caused them to form.
