Kirin R kept busy over the Christmas break with huge achievements in Chess
The London Junior Chess Congress hosted a fierce competition where Kirin triumphed in the Under 10 division winning First Place.
Despite facing tough competition, Kirin played six impressive games. Kirin acted with grace and opted to draw his seventh game to allow his competitor to claim second place – a kind gesture that is a credit to Kirin’s sense of fair play and competition.
Kirin was presented with a First Place trophy and prize.
He also met with some of his Chess heroes when he watched the final round of the London Chess Congress in Olympia including celebrity Super Grand Masters Nakamura, Caruana, and Aronian.
Well done!
