Year 7 Get a Close Up Look at Cells

Year 7 have started the term learning about cells and how complex multicellular organisms are organised.

After learning about organelles and the structure of cells, Year 7 collected and observed their very own cheek cells. For comparison they then made onion cell slides. Year 7 were quick to learn how to focus their microscopes and were captivated by the microscopic world around them.
