Temporary Art in the Forest

Some members of Year 5 created beautiful natural artworks in their Outdoor Ed class, inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy.
They emulated his techniques by collecting natural materials and creating a mix of abstract and figurative work. Fallen rose petals, bamboo fronds, leaves, pebbles, twigs and blossom were expertly and sensitively combined to paint upon the forest floor and to leave a mark. Their art gallery will remain until the wind blows the artworks away.
