Congratulations to our Friends at Higher Farm

Hazlegrove Prep, in partnership with Higher Farm, is making great strides in its innovative Kitchen Garden project.

The initiative aims to educate pupils about sustainable farming practices and the importance of healthy eating.

The project recently received a significant boost, thanks to the efforts of Higher Farm’s Matteo and Giacomo Grasso and their colleague Basil Gibson who ran three barefoot marathons in late March. They raised an impressive £8000, which will fund the plants, tools, and materials. This will provide pupils with a fantastic hands-on experience in sustainable farming.

We would like to say a huge well done to our wonderful and intrepid friends at Higher Farm for their immense achievements in their marathons and a thank you for all they were able to raise to bring this exciting project to fruition. We are greatly looking forward to taking the next steps in this exciting project as part of our continued eco-drive at the school.
