Lower School Production
The Lower School children raised the roof on Thursday and Friday last week with their rib-tickling performance of ‘A funny thing happened on the way to… Camelot’!
From knights, witches, a disgruntled waitress and fair maidens, to wizards, evil monsters, farmers, and enchanted trees stealing the limelight, there was a special moment for everyone – even the Chuckle Brothers had a comeback cameo! The children have really pulled together over the last few weeks as a team encouraging each other to go for it, and this certainly showed in the confidence levels of the children and their clear enjoyment of the performance on stage. They sang, danced and acted their hearts out to much laughter and applause, and we are all very proud of each and every one of them; for some it was their first time under the lights on stage. Thankfully, Arthur and Merlin did manage to foil Morgana’s evil plot with the help of a team of trusty knights and a very enthusiastic audience. A big thank you must go to all the team that were involved across the school to put on such a successful production.
