A Wonderful Celebration Assembly

It was another bumper Celebration Assembly this week with so many children going up on stage to receive certificates for maths and academic plus points -wonderful stuff! 

We were treated to a wonderful performance from Jessica F in Year 6, who won the recent Poetry Slam, with a spirited delivery of her poem, ‘What Am I’, 3R treated the School to a very energetic French song followed by Felix talking about his amazing rocket in response to Mr Brown’s ‘Rocket Challenge. With Show HMs including a delicious French Breakfast, from Sonny I,  a piece on the King from Tessa F and tremendous posters from Year 4 which included a Greek Skittle Eater and an Antelope Summer Dragon, creativity was in abundance this week at Hazlegrove.

Children across the School have embraced our values of both Kindness and Courage, with Hector S receiving the Upper School Good Egg Award, Rosa H being the Middle School Marvel and Mia B the Lower School Legend. Hugh B-S received the Music Star of the Week Award whilst Oliver P made a super effort on his design work this week and was crowned our Designer of the Week.

We closed with a Lower School hymn and prayer. What a great end to a very busy week!
