4K Design Their Own Village Maps in Their Geography Lesson!

The children in Year 4 have been learning all about Maps in Geography this term.

After comparing different types of maps and identifying features of a village, the children put their planning hats on and have been mapping out their own villages. We started by plotting a road through the village, with B roads, a river, and a bridge. We are now working hard to build 3D models of some of the different buildings we might find in a village, such as houses, schools, and churches. We are looking forward to seeing the finished 3D models.
