The Winner of ‘Guess the Number of Conkers’ Competiton
Henry S’s wonderfully impressive collection of 576 conkers caused many thinking caps to be donned in Mrs Hunter’s Reception as children and staff alike tried to guess how many there were. Henry collected the conkers from a tree in his garden and at School and came up with the idea of ‘guess the number of conkers’ to raise money for one of the charities that the School supports.
After much deliberation, the closest estimates to the grand total of 576 conkers were Mr Ryder and his son Daniel. Well done Daniel and also well done to Henry for such a fabulous idea!
