Year 8 Have Been Appointed Into Their New Monitor Roles!
There has been a real buzz around the Upper School this week. All of the Year 8 children have been appointed into their new Monitor roles.
This is an opportunity for them to really help and influence the HZG community and a chance for them to give something back. A time to ‘make a difference’ and help others. Every child wrote a letter of application and the standard this year was superb.
We have seventeen different Monitor roles and responsibilities:
From helping and supporting the different departments around the School (Sport, DT, Art, Music, Drama, Science and Food Tech) to improving the lives of others (Charity, Wellbeing and First Aid) or helping in specific sections of the School (Lower School and Pre-Prep), as well as key responsibilities, (Flag, Props, Tech, Library and Farm).
I am sure our current Year 8 will embrace the responsibility and opportunities that these roles involve and help them to grow and develop in their final year at HZG.
