Year 8 Had A Fabulous Evening At Their Leavers’ Dinner
On Tuesday evening we enjoyed a fabulous evening with our Year 8 at the Leavers’ Dinner.
We were treated to a wonderful three-course meal and enjoyed inspiring speeches from two Old Hazlegrovians. The evening allowed our leavers to reflect on their own Hazlegrove adventures and journeys. In Mrs Cobb’s closing speech, she mentioned how they should stay true to their Hazlegrove self and live by the five Hazlegrove values of Kindness, Integrity, Courage, Generosity and Grace. She was able to celebrate how they had really lived up to the Upper School Mottos of “Making a Difference” and being “Stronger Together”. What a fantastic group of 68 leavers they have been – above all, ‘fun loving’.
