Our Boarders Enjoy A Fantastic Weekend

We were all fortunate enough to wake up to sunshine and the birds performing their daily morning chorus, welcoming us to another warm summer’s day.

A full English breakfast gave us the start we needed to be fully energised, ready for the activities that lay ahead. First though, was letter writing. Despite having a busy day planned at the Taunton cricket ground, we were lucky enough to be treated on the turning circle to a Mr Whippy plus full trimmings – everyone loves a flake!

Morning activities included Born Survivor, Arts and Crafts, Ball Games, Slip & Slide, Food Tech Fun and Chalk Graffiti. We then had a bit of quiet time on the front lawn after a full roast lunch. In the afternoon, the Go-Karts were fired up, the bikes were out, there was football on the Astro, Just Dance in the theatre, cricket nets and a swim were on offer too.

Mr Beverly came over from King’s Bruton to deliver a wonderful and interactive service with the message ‘Trust in God’. It was a great day, full of fun, fellowship and new opportunities too.
