Year 3 and 4 Delight Audience With Lower School Concert

Children in Years 3 and 4 enjoyed a fabulous end to our Jubilee celebrations today, with our first Lower School Concert in several terms held in the Theatre.

Parents were treated to an impressive and wide-ranging display of musical talent, from oboe and violin to guitar and piano, showing just how far so many of our children have already travelled on their musical journey at Hazlegrove. Those younger children in Year 3, who have enjoyed some of our beginner instrument sessions this term, will have been inspired by the confidence displayed as their peers took to the floor to play a solo in front of their audience. Mrs Sclater and her team were certainly very impressed!

The concert culminated in a toe-tapping rendition of “It’s All Right”, from Disney’s Soul, sung by our Dolphin Choir. We are looking forward to performing this piece to Pre-Prep children and parents at their upcoming Prize Giving after Half Term.
