Well Done To Our HZG Girl Indoor Cricket Team

This week our girls enjoyed a very exciting and tense afternoon of cricket.

We welcomed both Taunton School and Wellington School to Hazlegrove for the first round of this year’s Under 13 Lady Taverners Indoor Cricket competition. The winner of this three-way competition would progress to the next round of this prestigious tournament.  The game is fast and furious, and every girl played their part in our two very close and nail-biting wins. Some good bowling and batting kept us firmly in the matches and with our tight fielding, we managed to keep the opposition sides restricted. Thanks to some brave running between the wickets, we ended the afternoon as the overall winners.  We look forward to the next round.
