Primary Maths Challenge

Over the course of the last two weeks our Year 5 and 6 (and some of our Year 4s) have been pitting their considerable wits against a series of super maths words problem in the Primary Maths Challenge 2021.

This is an annual national maths competition which, through 25 fun maths puzzles, covers the traditional middle school maths syllabus but also ventures into new areas involving logic, statistics, and geometric reasoning. We are still awaiting a few results but, so far, our mathematical ambassadors have not let us down - and I am confident that we will see top scores (Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates) from each year group and each of the maths sets.
