Countdown to Christmas Begins for our Boarders...
The clocks have changed, the cold has set in and the frost has begun to adorn the cattle…winter has arrived. And that can mean only one thing for us – Christmas fun.
Our first week back after half term saw the Sports Hall filled with Scottish dancers, preparing for the Scottish Dancing, after our Christmas Feast (which takes place over the last weekend of term, the In Weekend). Our feast is a wonderful evening, with the children dressing up and the staff donning their “James Bond” attire. The food is treat too! Unlike the grizzly bear, our children actually become more creative in the evenings and the weekends become a flurry of activity as we eek out the day-light. Dormitories will soon become like little Santa’s grottos and the festive cheer begins to grow strongly from the heart of the school – the Boarding Houses.
