Impressive LAMDA assessment results for Hazlegrove pupils

Last term, Speech and Drama pupils from Year 5 to Year 8 took part in assessments similar to the LAMDA examinations that were unable to go ahead due to COVID restrictions.
Altogether, 21 Merits and 26 Distinctions were achieved where a Merit is 65%+ and a Distinction is 80%+.
Stand out results were obtained by May H and Poppy M in Year 8 who both achieved 90% Distinctions in the Grade 4 Duo Acting or Devised category.
Speech and Drama teacher, Miss de la Poer notes, "All children achieved fantastic results and should be very proud. Certificates and reports will be distributed when back in school."
