Year 8 Charity Monitors Donate Sports Kit

Year 8 pupils Imogen S and Elsie W have been encouraging the Hazlegrove community to donate unwanted sports kit to SOS Kit Aid.

The charity recycles sports kit for the benefit of young people in the UK and overseas. They tell us more, 

We make a positive and tangible impact on children’s lives by giving them the chance to participate in sporting activities; promote social inclusion; and protect the environment. Our vision is to give all children access to sport, and in doing so, reduce the volume of sports kit in landfill sites.

Pupils and parents have been filling a green recycling bin at reception with Hazlegrove kit and it quickly filled to the brim. We hope many young people will benefit from the donations.
