Boarders Play Generation Game
“Nice to see you, to see you nice!”
Despite initially not having a clue what I was talking about (!) the children enjoyed their Christmas themed ‘Generation Game’ where they learnt to wrap a Christmas gift without using sticky tape, make balloon model Rudolphs and origami Christmas boxes. They also played the 12 holes of Christmas (golf challenge), learnt a Christmas dance and built a tower for Father Christmas out of newspaper and sticky tape! The morning flew by and everyone embraced each challenge. Edible rewards for the winning group and those who earned a special mention were well-received!
After a delicious roast lunch (the lamb melted in the mouth!) the afternoon was a combination of giant games of capture the flag using the whole site as the ‘battleground’ as well as badminton, football, chill time and prep for those who needed to catch up. Once letters were written hot chocolate, popcorn and a film in houses were the perfect way to relax and rest after an active and very enjoyable day. The children were on top form and a pleasure to be with!
