Mrs Barton Makes Protective Masks for Local Hosptial
Head of DT, Mrs Barton, has been busy making protective face shields for front line NHS staff.
In total Mrs Barton and her family have made 90 protective face shields from surplus resources in the DT department at Hazlegrove, and have delivered them to Yeovil District Hospital front-line staff, NHS healthcare in prisons and local doctors surgeries.
Mrs Barton says, 'We made 45 in a whole family production line that went out on Saturday and another 45 made and delivered today. It’s quite emotional to see how overwhelmingly grateful the staff are.'
With Personal Protective Equipment in short supply, we are so proud of and grateful to the Barton family for stepping in to help.
