Year 3 Have Fun at Corfe Castle

Year 3 enjoyed the most brilliant day at Corfe Castle on Friday. We were so blessed with the weather which kept dry and warm and allowed us to make the most of every moment!
Our wonderful guide Abbey shared stories of French Knights, cruel Kings and beautiful princess. We learnt how incredibly difficult it was to attack the castle and the ingenious and gruesome ways that invaders were kept out! Abbey reminded us of the wicked Prince John and how tough life was for so many in Medieval times.
We enjoyed our first picnic of the year on the grass banks and even had time for a roll down the hill!
Well done to all the Year 3 children who listened and behaved impeccably.
