Biathlon Success for Hazlegrove

On Sunday 56 Hazlegrove children competed in the South West Schools Biathlon. 

Despite the very wet and muddy running conditions all of our athletes both swam and ran well.  We were very proud of the effort and determination they all showed.  Every athlete did a timed swim and a timed run – the lengths of which varied depending on their age. For many this was their first Biathlon competition and it can be quite daunting competing alongside 500 children from across the country.  A huge well done to all of the Hazlegrove athletes, many of whom have set new personal bests and have new training goals to work towards.
