Year 6 French Trip 2024

We had such a fabulous time in France last week with Year 6. 

The children were immersed in French from the beginning, with all activities, from aéro-balle to bread-making, being introduced by our animateurs Romaine and Caroline.  By the end of the week, the children were translating and chorusing their replies.

The sun shone down on us as we visited Avranches, Mont St Michel and St Malo as well as a local market and being warmly welcomed by our new pen-friends in a local school.  We were so impressed by their enthusiasm and courage to engage with the language and their interest in French culture.  Well done Year 6!
