Year 5 Bake Yummy Biscuits

Year 5 pupils have embarked on their first term in Food Technology with great enthusiasm.

This week they tackled lemon biscuits. The pupils worked in small groups, meticulously following the recipe and creating every part of the bake themselves.  

In addition to mastering the yummy lemon biscuit recipe, the pupils spent time familiarising themselves with the Food Tech classroom. They learned the importance of good housekeeping in the kitchen, ensuring their workspaces were clean and organised. After keeping a clean workstation, we had to give our biscuits the taste test. A definite thumbs up from Year 5!
