Hazlegrove Sports Day 2024

Sports Day week at HZG was a fun filled week comprising of five different Sports Days for the different sections of the school - 

Nursery

Reception 

Years 1 and 2

Lower School

Years 5-8

Every child at Hazlegrove from the very youngest in the Nursery to those about to leave in Year 8 all competed. We were all treated to some fabulous contests on both the track and in the field events. The Running, Jumping and Throwing events all highlighted the wonderful depth of talent across the ages, with those in the Prep School earning points for their respective house. 

Dover emerged victorious and were presented with the House Trophy at the Years 5-8 Sports Day. 

Sport really does highlight all that is great within our Hazlegrove community;  courage, sportsmanship, humility, resilience, teamwork, comradery and determination were all very much on show on Sports Day.
