Year 6 have been writing to their French pen pals

Back in October, when Year 6 travelled to Normandy, we had a very special morning with our partner primary school, Ecole élémentaire Alain Fournier.
Our children have been exchanging cards with their French pen-pals ever since and the excitement on their faces as we hand out the latest delivery, is so rewarding. What a wonderful opportunity for them to explore the French culture and language in a real-life context, we feel very lucky to have been able to do this with them!
