Upper School Attend a Talk About Gender Equality

Natasha Eeles, from Bold Voices, visited HZG this morning, to talk with our Years 7 and 8 about Gender Equality.

She helped our children to reflect critically about gender stereotypes and gender equality in our lives today – in school, in society, in film and social media. The children were engaged and participated brilliantly in the discussions, sharing their views, confidently and respectfully. We were all left with plenty to consider – and the children will no doubt be looking at movies and advertisements with a more discerning lens, after today’s thought-provoking talk.
