Lower School Delight Audience With Hoodwinked
The Lower School began last week’s exeat on a real high with their spectacular production of ‘Hoodwinked’.
Their sensational singing could be heard across the grounds and no doubt many of the heart-warming catchy tunes will be ear worms for quite some time! It has been fabulous to see the pupils’ commitment to the production and their enjoyment throughout rehearsals and the performances, as well as their blossoming. They sang, danced, acted and narrated marvellously to retell the story of the legendary character Robin Hood and his Merry Crew. The evil sheriffs made us all very proud and despite a fire bell mid performance the Lower School children continued in fine form, determined to wow the audience. The power and joy delivered by the children made for two very special performances. The lyrics from the penultimate song ‘Stop the fighting’ reinforced the key messages for all of us, as we connect with the world and learn to be better people.
