Latest LAMDA Results

Mrs de la Poer reports on the recent LAMDA results!

All Speech & Drama children, having worked so hard in their LAMDA exams last term, achieved either merits or distinctions!

Exams included Verse &Prose, Public Speaking, Acting and Devised.  Children had to perform to the examiner and then were given questions in their chosen exam. 

As you may know, duo and solo LAMDA examinations at Grade 4 and 5 are the same ability level as a GCSE (A*-C) under the Qualifications and Credit Framework(QCF). Year 8’s and Allegra V have therefore done extremely well.

Passes are awarded for 50%+, Merits for 65%+ and Distinctions for 80%+.

All exams will benefit the children in everyday life. I want to say congratulations to all your amazing children!
