Friends of Hazlegrove Hosted A Old Hazlegrovian Reunion
On Saturday, the School hosted 13 Old Hazlegrovians and their partners for a reunion lunch to celebrate the School turning 75.
We were lucky enough that some of the very first pupils at Hazlegrove were able to attend. We were also joined by several ex-teachers (much to the delight of both our current pupils and staff). Ably assisted by Year 7 tour guides, the Old Hazlegrovians toured the school – and whilst much of the School has changed beyond recognition, there are still many areas that remain untouched with areas such as the Aragon Room, the Library, the Headmaster’s Office and even dorm rooms bringing memories flooding back. Our catering team did the School proud with a lovely lunch served in the library allowing everyone to catch up and reminisce about days gone by. “Very different from the dry gristle and rice pudding that was served during our time” one Old Hazlegrovian commented!
