Year 6 Re-enact The Battle of Naseby

As part of their learning about the Stuarts, Year 6 have been studying the Battle of Naseby, a turning point in the English Civil War.

We've brought it to life by story boarding it and then re-enacting it - helmets and all! Ask a passing Year 6 what happened and they'll regail you with how this was a turning point for Cromwell's new model army- partly thanks to some looting Royalists! Our Year 6s won't ever look at Lower school lawn the same again- it made the perfect battle field of Naseby!
