What An Exciting Afternoon Year 3 Shared In The Science Lab With Mr Brown!
Goodness me! We explored floating water beasties and asked how pond-skaters managed to skate the surface of the water without submerging.
Bubbling, frothing wizard’s brew was created using vinegar and food colouring. The essential ingredient, however, was baking powder which caused a reaction that entertained and delighted!
The children rotated round to many more interesting and engaging activities, including separating inks using pipettes and beakers. They knocked over paper cup skittles by using air forced through a funnel. Finally, much fun was had creating giant bubbles, exploring how much fun can be had when air is trapped in water.
A huge thank you to Mr Brown for inviting us to explore and ask questions in our wonderful new science lab!
