A Very Hoppy Weekend Was Had By Our Boarders at AirHop!

What a weekend it has been for all of us here at Hazlegrove! Saturday afternoon saw the weekend begin in full swing, with opportunities for us to try our dance moves out with Just Dance, get some exercise in the Sports hall, or go and run wild and free in our lovely woods. Dinner followed these events, with absolutely astonishing chicken burgers, chips and fries, along with, of course,  the evening films and festivities.  

Sunday morning started off with a lie in and a delicious full English breakfast. Following on from this, we headed to a thought-provoking chapel service lead by the ever-amazing Mr Froggat, where Ernest Shackleton took centre stage, even featuring in some of the letters we wrote after during our letter writing session.   

After finishing our letters (and with ample time to let our food settle) we piled onto a bus to leap and bound over to Airhop, an indoor trampoline park. There we spent a fun filled rest-of-the-morning running around trying all of the activities that were on offer, including things such as a massive trampoline area, trampoline dodgeball and an obstacle course. After finishing off the session, as well as finishing off all of the packed lunch that was brought with us, we all drove back to Hazlegrove for a more chilled out afternoon featuring hot chocolate, arts and crafts, swimming and more. To round it all off, a fantastic roast dinner was prepared, which was needed by all of us after a long, tiring, but ultimately amazing day.   

All in all this weekend was terrific, thanks to expert planning by Mr Head, and with wonderful staff members on hand to help out with the many activities that were on offer throughout. Now the children can glook forward to another week of school on Monday with new stories, smiles and energy.
