Year 7 Perform An Evening Of Nailbiting Murder Mystery Playlets

A huge congratulations to Year 7 who finally performed their playlets to a live audience in the theatre last week. They truly were two nail biting evenings of murder mystery stories.

As you know, the rehearsals during the autumn term were peppered with a plethora of obstacles. Staff and pupil absences were the main challenges of course; there was rarely a run through with a complete cast, or even half a cast, at times. However, the children’s enthusiasm and stamina shone through in the first week of this term; lines were practised with gusto, props began appearing from no-where, the smell of hair gel was seeping through the walls and the sun began to reflect on sequined dresses at the top of Moberly.

So, the question remains…Who dunnit? We dunnit! And against all odds. Thank you all who dressed up in woolly hats and thermal vests to support the performance. It was wonderful to have you all back!
