Finalist For The Boarding School of the Year awards 2021

Hazlegrove Prep School is delighted to announce that it has been selected as a Finalist in the Boarding School category for the Independent Schools of the Year Awards.

Head of Boarding, Mr Regan Schreiber said, 'At Hazlegrove, we believe passionately in boarding and in providing excellent all-round care for our boarders. We are therefore thrilled that this has been recognised by the Independent Schools of the Year Award – we are a finalist in the Boarding Schools' category.'

The judges of the Independent Schools of the Year 2021 said, 'It was an extremely tough decision to whittle down the finalists from more than 700 nominations received and especially given the consistently high standard of the entries. Thank you to all schools for taking part and congratulations to not only the finalists, but all schools who were shortlisted'.

Hazlegrove has a large number of boarders, many from forces families and a small number of international pupils. The children enjoy a wonderful site set in 200 acres of Somerset countryside with far reaching views to Glastonbury Tour.

The winners of each category, plus the overall Independent School of the Year, will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony being held on Thursday 7th October.
