Latest LAMDA Results

Once again, I am pleased to report that all children achieved outstanding results. 

As you may know, duo and solo LAMDA examinations at Grade 4 and 5 are the same ability level as a GCSE (A*-C) under the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).  Year 8's have therefore done particularly well.  We also had four 100% grades which, is rare!  Hazlegrove children once again worked so hard and despite a difficult term really deserve these amazing results.  The LAMDA examinations are a combination of performance and questions, which will benefit the children in everyday life. 

I am very aware we had lots of support from parents, teachers, house parents and LSU to learn lines so a big thank you to you all!  I also wanted to say a special thank you to Ali and Sara for sending letters and newsletters to remind parents to help with rehearsals. 

Passes are awarded for 50%+, Merits for 65%+ and Distinctions for 80%+.
