Year 6 Take Part In A STEM Competition
Year 6 have been taking part in a STEM competition which involves them working in teams, designing and making an impact buggy to protect an egg down the ramp of doom.
They are given 100 DT dollars, in the beginning to spend on materials and they must work out costing and planning.
The ramp starts at a 10-degree gradient and increases with each drop all the way up to a 90-degree vertical drop - some of the eggs survived numerous vertical drops.
The winners from 6P3 and 6P4 were the Team *Real Egg-cellence* which was made up of Milo T, Sophia W and Lecky S with Team *Happy-Egg* coming a close second which was made up of M, James W and Lottie E.
