Our Boarders are Back - A Weekend to Remember
The sun was out for the boarders' first weekend back at school this term, and we certainly made the most of being together again!
We started the Sunday programme with a delicious full English breakfast, then enjoyed Mr Schreiber’s open air chapel service – a thought-provoking talk about who we can trust. Then on to letter writing before starting our morning activities. A whirlwind of fun followed, from zooming around the go-kart track, making Easter bonnets, archery, scone baking, a Nerf gun war, nail polish applying, man hunt…. The list goes on.
Then a truly scrumptious Sunday roast, followed by a much needed lie down with a reading book. Our afternoon activities included a bike scavenger hunt, toasting marshmallows around the fire, pilates, Lego robots, Quik cricket and football, and then it was time to enjoy those scones! After one or two yummy cream teas, the boarders enjoyed a film before dinner was served.
Phew! What a busy weekend, and a brilliant time had by all. Well done boarders, you were great company. We could probably all do with another day off now to recover…
