Oliver raises money for charity with his own 5:5:5 challenge.

Oliver B first heard about the 5:5:5 challenge through a PSHE assignment over the May half term set by Mrs Thomas, inviting the children to run 5km, donate £5 to the NHS and nominate 5 other people to have a go.

Oliver decided he would cycle 5k every day for 5 days. He estimated he would need to cycle around his marked out square approximately 15 times. He strapped on a Garmin watch to keep track of the distance (& speed!) and off he went. And so he went on for the next 4 days, each time trying to beat his time. On the fifth and final day he battled a strong wind but made it through to the end.

Oliver's family are so proud of him. They said, "Anyone who knows Oliver knows that he takes cycling fairly seriously and will rarely pop out for a ‘gentle bimble’ on his bike! By the end of day 1 of fundraising we had raised nearly £120 thanks to the generosity of friends and family members and as it stands today, Oliver has raised a  grand total of £193!  Oliver was absolutely blown away.
